Exploring, learning to differentiate and affect layers in Structural Integration.

The goal of this workshop is to explore Dr. Rolf's model of the onion as an analogy to the human structure and to learn how to work with it. We will focus on the core and sleeve relationship, as a part of that same concept through discussions and experience. Another of our themes is the review of the recipe from this viewpoint.

Methodology

We will adopt a 3 session series in order to explore these concepts.

We will use 4-handed work as a very useful tool to feel and understand layers. The instructor will do one session of the 3-series with each student, working 4 handed with his/her partner. This will help both students (the practitioner and the client) to recognize layers. They will exchange the other 2 sessions of the series. The participants will also do a 3 session series working 4-handed with a client.

Besides the experience we will use discussions, lectures and feedback as our resources. We will also have time to address any particular interest that any participant may have.

Format: 6, 6-hour days.

Credit: This workshop qualifies for 36 hours of Category 1 IASI credit.
