The 10-session series created by Dr. Rolf is Structural Integration. "Rolfing®" is a trade marked name for SI used by members of the Rolf Institute.
Are the changes obtained by Structural Integration permanent?
Life is not static; permanent implies reaching an end-point. Structural Integration sees life as an ever-changing process; dynamic and progressive. You can't step into the same river twice and so it is highly unlikely that you will return to the same place from which you started.

Structural Integration as a Career
What are the professional advantages of training in Structural Integration?
If you already work within the health profession, Structural Integration is a unique specialization that, besides personal growth and great personal satisfaction, will certainly bring you competitive advantages. If you are in another career, SI will open up an entirely new world of opportunities.
Does the current market place offer opportunities for Structural Integration Practitioners?
Yes. The increasing search for a better quality of life provides the opening to an ever-expanding market. Structural Integration is seen as the profession of the future as it is such a wonderful tool for personal growth and true physical integrity. It is the method that, rather than simply addressing symptoms, treats the human being as a whole, giving them the opportunity of a more balanced life.
What is the difference between Structural Integration and other modalities?
Structural Integration considers the person as more than simply a physical body; SI addresses the integration of the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual bodies. It is educational and preventative in its approach to ill-health. Additionally, it is the only modality that considers the fundamental relationship between gravity in the organization of the human body.
